FAQs

  • Are golfers allowed to walk?
    • Yes! Walkers are always welcome. We do not have a separate walking rate, so walkers only pay standard green fees.
  • Is fishing allowed in the ponds?
    • No. Fishing and hunting are not permitted anywhere on the course. Violators will be asked to leave and may be subject to law enforcement involvement.
  • Does the course have twilight rates and hours?
    • Yes. Twilight rates and times vary throughout the season, so please call the pro shop for the most up-to-date information.
  • Are outside drinks allowed?
    • Outside alcohol is not allowed on the course and is subject to confiscation. All beverages must be purchased through the pro shop.
  • Is there a driving range?
    • We do not have a driving range, but we offer hitting bays with nets and a practice putting green available for use.
  • Are there restrooms on the course?
    • Yes. Restrooms are located on Holes 6 and 9. Please note that these may be closed during winterization.
  • Can I buy gift cards to Duncan Hills?
    • Yes! Gift certificates are available for purchase in the pro shop. You may also call and purchase over the phone.
  • Does the course offer rainchecks?
    • Yes. Rain checks are issued only if severe weather persists for an extended period or if the course closes due to weather conditions.
  • Is the golf course open year-round?
    • Yes. We are open year-round but may close temporarily for snow, frost, or if temperatures are not expected to reach 40°F by noon.
  • Does the course offer a military discount?
    • We do not currently offer a military discount. However, we provide junior and senior discounts, as well as twilight rates.
  • Is Duncan Hills public or private?
    • Duncan Hills is a municipal golf course owned by the City of Savannah. We welcome both members and non-members.
  • Are golf clubs or push carts available to rent?
    • We have golf clubs available to rent in the pro shop for $15 (left and right handed). We do not have push carts to rent.
  • Do you allow fivesomes?
    • Yes, we allow groups of up to five players.
  • Can I bring my own cart to use?
    • Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own cart. A $10/$15 trail fee does apply, or you may purchase an annual trail fee pass.
  • Is there a 9-hole rate?
    • We do not offer a designated 9-hole rate. However, we do have twilight hours that include all-you-can-play golf.
  • Do you allow riders or spectators?
    • Yes, we do allow riders and spectators. A $10/$15 rider fee applies.
  • Do you offer club repair services?
    • Yes, we do! Please call the pro shop or stop in for more information.
